Show a location's address and hours with the Location info block
Locations get LocalBusiness structured data AND a visible block with address, hours, and a live Open now line. Here's how it works.
When you assign a location to a page in Settings → Locations, two things publish: LocalBusiness structured data for search engines and AI agents, and a data payload that the Location info app block renders visibly on that page — address, tap-to-call phone, opening hours, and a live Open now line.
Nothing visible is ever injected automatically. The block appears only where you place it in the theme editor, inherits your theme's fonts and colors, and renders nothing at all on pages without an assigned location.
Add the block to the location's page
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize on your live theme.
- Open the template used by your location page.
- Click Add block in the section where you want it, and choose Location info under Apps.
- Position it, set the heading if you want one, and Save.
Choosing what it shows
- Display options live in AgentReady, per location: toggle the hours table, phone, email, address, and the Open now line, and pick plain or card styling.
- The Open now line needs the location's timezone (set it in the location's editor) — without it, the line stays hidden rather than guessing from the visitor's clock.
- Changes reach the storefront on the page's next sync, which saving the location triggers automatically.
Tip · The block is part of paid plans. On the free plan the block stays silent — it never shows an upgrade message to your shoppers.
