AgentReady reads your existing store data, writes it back as structured data and agent-readable surfaces, and then proves the result with a crawl of your live storefront. No theme edits, no code, nothing visible without your say-so.
1. Install and connect
Install from the Shopify App Store and approve the read permissions. AgentReady works from your existing catalog, pages, policies, and brand settings; there is nothing to migrate and nothing to re-enter.
2. The first sync
The sync walks your products, collections, pages, and blog posts and generates two machine-readable layers for each: Schema.org JSON-LD for search engines, and a normalized Agent JSON representation for AI assistants. Both are stored as metafields on the resources they describe, rendered by a theme app embed you switch on once.
From then on, Shopify webhooks keep everything current. Edit a product and its structured data follows automatically.
3. Agent surfaces go live
Beyond on-page markup, AgentReady publishes the surfaces AI agents actually fetch: an llms.txt index of your store, a markdown twin of every product page, an MCP endpoint agents can query live, and a product feed for agentic commerce programs.
4. Proof, not promises
The readiness audit fetches your storefront the way GPTBot does and verifies the structured data is really there, really valid, and really complete, then scores it. The agent-traffic view shows server-verified visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and the rest, so you can see the audience arrive.
Frequently asked questions
Does AgentReady change how my store looks?
No. Everything AgentReady writes is invisible metadata unless you explicitly add one of its theme blocks (FAQ accordion, location info, store locator, trust strip) in the theme editor. Nothing visible is ever injected automatically.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. Install, approve permissions, switch on the theme embed, and run the first sync. The whole path is about ten minutes, and the checklist walks every step.
What happens when I edit a product?
Shopify notifies AgentReady via webhooks and the affected structured data regenerates automatically. Manual full re-syncs are always available, but day to day you should not need them.
How do I know it's actually working?
