Reach FAQ and troubleshooting
Quick answers on permissions, where posts go, schedules, and the most common Reach snags.
Does Reach change my Google account?
No. The Search Console connection is read-only. Reach reads your search performance and never writes to or changes anything in Google.
Where do Reach posts get published?
To a blog on your Shopify store. You set a default blog, and you can send an individual post to a different blog when you need to.
Will Reach publish without me?
Only if you set it to. New plans start on approve-each-post. Posts publish automatically only after you switch to the automatic level, and you can pause anytime.
A post shows no results yet
A new post reads as measuring until Search Console has data for it. Search takes time, so give it a while. The per-post lift and exposure curve fill in as the data arrives.
Reach can't load my Search Console properties
This is almost always one of three things: the Search Console API is off, your OAuth consent screen is still in Testing, or the connection expired. See "Fix: Search Console properties won't load" above for the steps.
