Build a comparison, gift guide, or alternatives page
Reach comparison pages answer A vs B, gift-guide, and alternatives-to searches with facts scraped from real product pages.
Comparison pages live under Reach at /dashboard/reach/comparison. They are for bottom-funnel searches: shoppers (and assistants) comparing products right before they buy.
Every cell in the table comes from a real product page you add, with the source shown, so the page stays honest and stays useful for ranking.
Three types
- Head-to-head: compare two or more products (A vs B).
- Gift guide: a roundup where each item earns a best-for angle.
- Alternatives to: a roundup framed against one incumbent product.
How to start
- Open Reach → Comparison pages.
- If Search Console is connected, review Suggested comparisons (real queries you already show up for but rank weakly on), or start a blank page with a type and working title.
- Add your products and any competitor URLs you want grounded. Reach scrapes facts; it does not invent them.
- Generate, review, and publish to your Shopify blog when you are ready.
Tip · Comparison pages need a Reach premium plan. Creating a page is blocked on free tiers in the app and on the server.
