The Sidekick tools only read. Nothing about your store changes from a Sidekick conversation. When you're ready to fix something, AgentReady's normal flow takes over on the catalog page: it proposes each change, you review it, and only your click applies it, one field at a time, with one-click undo. Sidekick points you at the fix; it never makes it for you.
Per Shopify's rules for Sidekick, the tools run in Shopify's secure sandbox and return derived readiness data only. There's no selling, no nudging, and no data leaves that isn't the answer to what you asked.

Shopify's Sidekick app extensions are rolling out through a developer preview, so availability follows Shopify's rollout of Sidekick itself. Where Sidekick is available and AgentReady is installed, the tools appear automatically once the app is up to date — there's nothing to configure.
